it's still one of my all-time favorite films and i watch it multiple times a year.
so in my terrific fear of the monstrous creature i set out to learn as much as i possibly could-a sort of knowledge is power theory.the more i know the less likely that i'd die of a shark attack-at least this was my idea as a kid.so i started watching (and taping) discovery channel's shark week every year and reading any articles, books, etc. ,cataloguing as many bits of info as my brain could contain.eventually it grew into an immense respect and eventually an obsession.
at this point i'm known amongst friends as a virtual encyclopedia brittanica of shark facts. i actually get *excited* when i hear of a shark attack on the news and got teary-eyed when i heard that roy scheider (aka chief brody) died earlier this year-trust me i know it's weird.
i present to you now these shark-related items.
clearly a couple of the greatest cinematic moments in film history.
