seperated at birth: BEAT LA edition

watching last night's phillies dodgers game it occurred to me that the dodger's manny ramirez looked like an ork with a baseball bat.

here's ramirez (i would have liked to have found a photo of him up at bat which looks way more accurate when he has his mouthguard in and looks more disgusting and dirty with his mud covered helmet and bat)

the other night when they got in the fight/controversy centering around victorino and the pitching retaliation i really wished baseball were a bit more like hockey and they would have let them duke it out. i can't stand that smug bastard ramirez. victorino got fined anyway-he at least could have gotten a good swipe at him in for his troubles.

oh it is SO on tomorrow night!!

last night's game against the dodgers was so exciting that i kept forgetting to breathe. we have pulled in front to a 3-1 lead and are just one game away from getting to the world series for the first time since 1993!!!!!!!!

shane victorino-the flyin hawaiian and my birthday twin-knocked a beautiful one out of the park along with a suprising homerun from matt stairs. charlie manuels even cracked a smile-i swear we saw it happen.lights out lidge closed it on out as we expected.

the game was a *total* nailbiter.

i have a day to take a breather and then of course i will be on edge again-i'm counting on these two hot studs to clinch it tomorrow night.



i am djing on friday night so if they don't seal the deal tomorrow i am going to have to figure out how to simultaneously watch the game and spin tunes at the same time.yikes!
